Akita Prefecture Fair – Discover the Flavors of Akita!

Experience the fresh and delicious flavors of Akita Prefecture, Japan, at the Akita Prefecture Fair, held at Meidi-Ya’s Great World and Millenia Walk stores from 18–20 September 2026.

Akita Prefecture is blessed with rich natural surroundings, fertile land and a distinct four-season climate, producing a wide variety of high-quality agricultural products.

During the fair, visitors can discover a selection of fresh seasonal produce from Akita, including Japanese pears, edamame, shiitake mushrooms and Japanese green onions.

Special Tasting – Tama Usagi Peach

Visitors will have the opportunity to sample Tama Usagi peaches from Akita.

Tama Usagi peaches are known for their beautiful appearance, juicy texture and well-balanced sweetness. Enjoy the delicate flavor and refreshing taste of this seasonal Japanese fruit.
